Ruby Rose Faces Backlash Over Instagram Post Following Paris Attacks

by 4h ago Like many celebrities, Ruby Rose took to social media after the terrorist attacks in Paris to express her support for the victims. Some followers, however, did not like that her message included support for more than just those suffering in France. “Let’s be honest… Pray for humanity. What is happening in the world,” she wrote under a picture on Instagram that said “Pray For The Entire World.” She continued, “Today has been devastating. #lebanon #paris #syria and everywhere under attack right now. this is not a blanket post this is a post for today’s horrific news which spans many countries.” Many fans urged her to take the post down, claiming it took away from the tragedy of what happened in Paris. “Stop erasing what happened… acknowledge the terror attacks as the tragedies they are,” wrote user xqueentroianx. Rose quickly came to the defense of her post, explaining she wasn’t minimizing what happened in France, but rather bringing awareness to all of the terrible incidents that happened on the same day. She later posted a quote from President Obama in which he said, “This is not just an attack on Paris, not just on the people…
