New ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ Trailer Dives Deep Into Vandal Savage

Earlier today, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow followed up their big crossover origins with a fully-assembled one-sheet poster, and now the ArrowFlash spinoff does one better. See the Legends take on a revitalized Vandal Savage in a new full-length trailer for the 2016 premiere! You’re wanted of some minor spoilers for this past week’s “Legends of Today / Legends of Yesterday” crossover from here on out, but suffice to say, Casper Crump’s Vandal Savage was literally left in the dust by the combined might of Teams Arrow and Flash. That doesn’t seem to have stopped the immortal madman from wreaking havoc however, as a new Legends of Tomorrow trailer sees Vandal in multiple time periods, also revealing a bit of Rip Hunter’s history in the process. So reads the official Legends of Tomorrow description: When heroes alone are not enough… the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat – one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team…
